The NCHC of the NARLabs publicly issued a Request For Information (RFI) about "the mainframe and storage system for advanced artificial intelligence and big data" a few days ago with a budget of NT$860 million. The NCHC held an information session for the RFI today. Associate engineer Chen De-min gave a detailed explanation, while the NCHC engineers who had worked on the planning of the project were also on hand to answer questions. About 120 people from 38 domestic or international firms, such as Acer, Asus, Taiwan Mobile, Systex, IBM, and Fujitsu, took part in the meeting.
The information session was packed with an attentive audience listening to the needs of the project.
