The internet of things (IoT) technique for measuring vibration, which was developed by using sensor nodes that measure unique signal features of equipment operating in different states, uploads vibration responses to a cloud computing platform. The platform mounts an AI-based vibration analysis algorithm to monitor the machinery health for risk control and prevention.

- A recurrent neural network is used to establish the machinery diagnosis model.
- The AI-based vibration analysis algorithm enables accurate analysis from the measured data of accelerometer without calibration procedure.

The machinery vibration measuring and intelligent diagnosis system can be applied to manufacturing equipment damage diagnosis, chiller and heat sink fan motor monitoring, wind turbine operation and maintenance, and tall building and bridge structure health monitoring, ensuring the condition of machinery or structures through monitoring and intelligent diagnosis.
