NCHC Participates in the “Taiwan Science Festival” Science Carnival

Publicsh Date:2024.11.10
From November 8 to 10, the National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC) participated in the “Science Carnival” at the National Taiwan Science Education Center as part of the Taiwan Science Festival. The event featured a wide range of themes—including medical technology, emerging tech, everyday science, natural sciences, applied technologies, and sustainability—offering the public a hands-on opportunity to explore the wonders of science up close.
For this event, NCHC presented a high-performance computing (HPC)-themed matching card game, which introduced supercomputing applications across various industries through a fun career-flipping format. Both kids and adults had a great time engaging with the activity, and the booth drew continuous waves of enthusiastic visitors.
Many parents and children asked thoughtful questions, and even as the lights dimmed and the venue began to close, eager children were still lining up at the NCHC booth. We are truly grateful for everyone’s support—thank you for making this a joyful and memorable Science Festival experience!

科學節活動不分學齡前兒童或是國高中學生,都玩得十分投入。
Whether preschoolers or high school students, everyone enjoyed learning at the NCHC booth during the Science Festival.
