National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC) Provided the Data Analysis Service (DAS) to Assist the Institute for Information Industry in the "2021 Enterprise Data Competition"

The "2021 Enterprise Data Competition" planned by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economics Affairs and the Digital Education Institute, Institute for Information Industry has been held at the IEAT International Conference Center on November 19 to launch activities, such as corporate keynote speeches, competitions presentations, and issuance of awards. In the post-pandemic era, it is hoped that this event can attract more data analysis talents, assist enterprises in business decision-making, and add value to data to trigger the digital transformation of the industries.

In terms of activity planning, actual enterprise cases and data were used for problem-solving, including "consumer retail", "financial technology", "smart manufacturing", and "biotechnology field." Six major enterprises provided private data and problems, and 3 cross-domain overlapping problems were jointly solved. The competition attracted more than 90 teams to participate in the proposal competition. In the end, 39 teams were shortlisted. The NCHC co-organizer provided the Data Analysis Service (DAS) deployed in the TWCC Taiwan Computing Cloud to assist in the data analysis platform required for the competition, and to help the participating members collaborate on the platform to perform data value addition, integration, organization, and other processes, in order to accelerate the establishment and monitoring management of the analysis model. The DAS won the affirmation of the participating teams. In addition to accelerating enterprise transformation through data application, NCHC DAS will also give new life to data and open up another field of innovation.
