CDX Cyber Defense Exercise Platform- User Experience and Platform Application Exchange Seminar

In order to learn about users' suggestions and expectations for the CDX services, enhance the communication between the NCHC teams and users, and establish a good cooperative relationship so as to make improvement for the future, from April 9 to 10, 2021, the NCHC held a CDX (Cyber Defense Exercise platform) user experience and platform application exchange seminar at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology and Janfusun Resort Hotel. There were total 28 participants in this event, including key users of the CDX platform and teachers along with teaching assistants from the talent training program of the Ministry of Education.

On the first day of the seminar, workshops were centered on two major application themes: "teaching" and "competition" in the field of cybersecurity, leading participants to use and operate in the platform and share their experience. On the second day, Dr. An Xingyan from the Cybersecurity Team of the NCHC presented the current state of the CDX platform and its future development blueprint. Associate researcher Chen Yingquan showed the measured results of the CDX 3.0 platform efficiency improvement plan. Many key users were invited to share their experience and insights on the use of CDX services. During the meeting, three topics were discussed, including the current situation and difficulties encountered in the training of cybersecurity talents, the development and application of the CDX platform in courses about cybersecurity practice, and users' expectations for the development direction of the CDX platform. It is hoped that through users' feedback, our platform services can be made better.

We had invited key users of the CDX platform and teachers along with teaching assistants who had long participated in the talent training program of the Ministry of Education to participate in this collaboration between the NCHC and National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Face-to-face, the NCHC team was able to engage in in-depth discussions with users, laying a sound foundation for collaboration. This event also offered users opportunity for experience exchange and interaction.
