The Data Team Spoke at DataCon.TW 2019

The data mart team at the NCHC took part in DataCon.TW 2019 (Data Conference Taiwan) on September 6th. This conference was hosted by Taiwan Data Engineering Association (TDEA), an organization founded by members of data applications communities in Taiwan. The conference aims to offer developers of big data-related frameworks more opportunities to join communities and share knowledge.

It was the 11th year that DataCon.TW has been held. This annual event has been offered in three tracks, each with lectures and discussions focusing on topics respectively for “developers”, “managers”, and “application cases”. This year the NCHC data mart team mainly presented in the application cases track. Chen Wei-yu, an NCHC associate research fellow, presented “Applications of using ICP4D to visualize data in data marts on TWCC”. The NCHC team also had lively discussions with visitors to its booth.
