Professor Isaac Ben-Israel, chairman of Israel Space Agency (ISA), visited NCHC

Chairman of Israel Space Agency (ISA) and co-leader of national AI special project Professor and Mrs. Isaac Ben-Israel visited NCHC on February 19 to learn about the state of information security, AI, and high-performance computing in Taiwan. He also gave a lecture. Professor Isaac Ben-Israel was deeply impressed by the computing capabilities and cloud service provided by Taiwania 2 supercomputer. He gave a speech on “From Cyber Security to Data Science and AI”. He is a professor emeritus and head of the Yuval Ne'eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security at the University of Tel Aviv. He shared his valuable research and experiences in AI, cyber security, and Big Data analytics. He also talked about how Israel is gradually emerging in the 21 century as a strong leader in information technology and cyber security.
