Digital Twin Case: Penghu County 3D Fishing Ports Smart Management Platform

NCHC is honored to collaborate with the Penghu County Government on the the "3D Fishing Ports Digital Twin Smart Management Platform ." By creating virtualized scenarios and incorporating computational programming and AI technology, the platform establishes a digital twin environment. It integrates real-time information such as wind speed and direction from the Central Weather Bureau, radar echo images, and dynamic ocean currents to provide comprehensive sea condition monitoring. The AI-powered image recognition technology enables real-time tracking of vessel movements, automatic counting of vessels entering and leaving the port, and identification of vessel sizes. The system's navigation simulation function utilizes real-time weather and sea condition data to recommend the optimal route for port entry. Penghu County was also recognized for its smart water management initiative, earning the Smart City Innovation Application Award at the 11th Smart City Summit & Expo in 2024.
