2021 Smart City Exhibition and Forum-ICT Technology, Application and Innovation for Digital Cities

The 2021 "Smart City Exhibition and Forum" was held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 2 from March 23 to 26. Although there was strict crowd control in the exhibition because of the pandemic, during the four days in exhibition, it still attracted more than 80,000 visits from more than 50 industrial and commercial groups. The NCHC team put on displays about Intelligent video analytics and retrieval system, intelligent video analytics and retrieval system, High-resolution wind forecast platform, and Green Dancer-a personal and movable AI/BD integration computing platform. The NCHC team invited ICP DAS to jointly exhibit its air sensor DL-1023. An online forum was also held by the NCHC on March 23, featuring speakers Charlie Catlett (University of Illinois Discovery Partners Institute), Jenq-Neng Hwang (University of Washington), Yen-Jong Chen (NCKU), Norman Peterson (Argonne National Lab), and other well-known domestic and international scholars. The topics covered from "Artificially Intelligent Cities", "Coordinated Mining of Big Visual Data for Smart City Applications", to "The Green Challenges of Spatial Planning after COVID19 pandemic". A total of 22 scholars and experts participated in the two-hour forum from more than 6 countries.
