軟體配備：

作業系統是IRIX 6.5.7f。MIPS Pro C/C++ 7.3.1.1m compilers，IRIS Performer 2.2.7 execution environment and 2.2 development environment。 CAVE library 2.7 CAVE library 2.6 simulation版。
虛擬實境設備電腦主機以及科學試算應用圖形處理平台。主要系統有兩顆MIPS R10000 250MHz CPUs，512MB 的記憶體，InfiniteReality2 的圖形硬體，音效晶片以及兩顆內接式硬碟，分別為8GB與18GB容量。滑鼠、鍵盤為一般標準配備，顯示器則是可顯示16:9之寬螢幕。主機放置在機房，透過光纖線與訊號轉換裝置將螢幕、鍵盤、滑鼠等I/O設備，至於虛擬實境實驗室。
