2011 Taiwan CUDA Programming Contest2011/05/12

In recent years, the CUDA programming ability is becoming more and more important due to increasingly widespread applications of GPU in high-performance computing. In order to promote the development of GPU applications, the National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC) has, for the first time, worked with NVIDIA on planning the “2011 Taiwan CUDA Programming Contest.” Through the contest, we hope to promote the technology development applying GPU to high-performance computing and to cultivate more outstanding CUDA programming talents.

From April to August 22nd, 2011, the contest is open for registration and on-line work submission. The awarding of the prize is arranged for the next year after the appraisals finish. The contest doesn’t set any theme in order to encourage those people who are interested in CUDA programming to freely display their creativities. The NCHC hopes to upgrade Taiwanese research competence in high-performance computing and GPU through the contest. The winner of this competition will be awarded NTD$180,000.
