(2004/2) NCHC's New HP Superdome Is Ready For Service!
The Hewlett Packard Superdome is our most recent supercomputer acquisition. It is one of Taiwan's most powerful supercomputers. Our HP Superdome is a distributed parallel processing machine equipped with the new 1.5 GHz 64 bit Itanium 2 CPUs. It utilizes two CPUs in the same socket on a single chip, 128 CPUs total (four 32-processor machines hooked together with an ultra fast connection), 256 GB of memory, and 1,088 GB of hard disk space. It delivers computing power of Rpeak 284 Gflops and Rmax 335 Gflops together with 67,276,800 Storage Resource Units (SRU) annually. Feel free to apply for a HP Superdome User Account now.
