Introduction
|
The NCHC plans, implements, and maintains advanced high performance computing hardware for use by Taiwan's research and academic communities. We provide a highly stable and efficient computing environment for our users to develop their applications over. These computing facilities include distributed parallel machines (e.g. the IBM P690 and HP Superdome) as well as shared memory parallel machines (e.g. SGI 2000 and SGI 3800). Additionally, we have Compaq, IBM, SGI, HP, and Sun workstations.

Storage
|
The NCHC also provides high capacity magnetic tape and hard disk storage facilities. Our storage hardware includes StorageTek L5500 and L700e tape libraries, EMC Connectrix Director, McDATA Eclipse 2640 SAN Router, storage disk array, and a Data Storage Service.
