Introduction

Since its inception, the Internet has evolved from being a simple means of information exchange into a magnificent and massive communications and data exchange platform. Grid users do not need to know the physical location of the computing resources they require, rather, they simply need to be able to gain easy access to those resources. He only needs to access the website, locate the services he needs, and then complete the task.
NCHC's Knowledge Integration Platform is a basic infrastructure portal for gathering information. It features a unitary interface for computing resource and an advanced management function that allows the user to manage the applications.

- Web-based interface for users and managers- The platform uses portal technology to create a simple web-based management interface. It can be accessed by general users as well as administrators. It can also easily navigate routine management process.
- Open application interface- The platform supports NCHC's Grid computing services using a web service technology formula. Users can make use of a variety of services by means of a standard Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) interface.
- Scaleable and Expandable- This platform integrates seamlessly with Grid computing and Data Grid. It utilizes work flows to string together applications and data, thus simplifying complex processes.
