The NCHC’s Visualization and Interactive Media Laboratory (VIML) was established to serve the visualization needs of Taiwan’s industry, governmental, and academic entities. The goal of scientific visualization is to enhance the representation of scientific visualization results and diversify its manifestation. The NCHC’s VIML constantly develops new scientific visualization technology such as virtual reality and digital media to help in the development of various applications.
VIML Goals:
- To provide scientific visualization related services and consultation
- To participate in cooperative projects and to develop new scientific visualization and VR applications
- To promote scientific visualization applications
- To provide related educational programs
