The NCHC has integrated several different application software packages into a multi-use web-based applications development platform. This platform has been used to simulate the design of light emitting diodes (LED) and includes their electric, thermo-fluid, and optical analysis. This platform has also been used to create a customized interface for medical applications that includes medical image pre and post processing and solver. This platform is still under development. Some practical applications that this platform has been used to develop in the past are listed below:

  • Computer assisted prefabrication of a cranioplasty implant
  • LED design platform
  • Customized computer-aided engineering (CAE) interface development
  • Web-based simulation platform development
