* Flow & Thermal Analysis

Designing a product or improving its quality using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations is very common. CFD analysis usually requires a very large amount of computational resources. The NCHC provides various software and hardware resources as well as CFD simulation technology for use by academic researchers and to assist in the development of industrial applications. Some practical applications we have worked on in the past are listed below:

  • Multi-stage turbo machinery flow simulation
  • Flow simulation of a 3D transonic fan
  • Air stapler gun flow simulation
  • 3D plastic extrusion mold flow simulation
  • Multi phase flow simulation
  • Internal flow simulation of a CD-ROM drive
  • Flow simulation of the respiratory tract and artery stent
  • Micro fluidic bio chip design and analysis
