Facility:Formosa 3
Formosa 3 is the NCHC’s self-built cluster cloud computing system. Integrating NCHC’s solid strength in cluster computing and cloud technology, it provides complete and reliable cloud computing services. It consists of 76 dual-Xeon PCs connected on a subnet with 40 Gb/s InfiniBand and its best maximum speed is about 9 TFlops. Currently, Formosa 3 mainly provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), offering users the virtual machine management, complete customization and control, and easy installation and integration.
